A two-year letter winner on the track & field team, running cross country for the first time. Kara holds the 400m hurdle record and helped set two indoor and two outdoor relay records. 2007: Opened outdoor season with a 2:27.81 800m run at the Emory Invitational. Ran a season-best 1:08.98 in the 400m hurdles at the Emory Classic. 2006: Helped set team indoor records in the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400m relays. During outdoor season, set the team record in the 400m hurdles with a 1:08.25 at the Emory Mini-meet and helped set team records in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400m relays.

A 2005 graduate from Cross Creek H.S. in which she was a four-year
letter winner in track and volleyball.
