MILLEDGEVILLE,
Ga. – October 9, 2010 – The recent struggles
continued for the Clayton State Laker women’s soccer team on
Saturday as it dropped a 4-1 Peach Belt Conference decision at rival
Georgia College. The defeat, the
fourth straight for the Lakers, drops Clayton State to 3-7 overall
and 1-5 in the Peach Belt. Georgia College has won five straight and
is now 7-3 overall and 4-0 in the Peach Belt. Cherie Sayon scored
the lone goal for the Lakers, her ninth on the season.

continued on Wednesday for the Clayton State Laker women’s soccer
team as it dropped a 4-1 decision in Peach Belt Conference action at
Montevallo. The defeat, the
third straight for the Lakers, drops Clayton State to 3-6 overall
and 1-4 in the Peach Belt. Montevallo improves to 3-7-1 overall and
1-4 in the Peach Belt. Sophomore forward Natalia Valentine scored
the lone goal for Clayton State.

N.C. – October 2, 2010 –
Aiming to rebound from Wednesday’s defeat at North Georgia,
the Clayton State Laker women’s soccer team could not get back on
track on Saturday, dropping a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference decision at
UNC Pembroke.
The defeat, the
second straight for the Lakers, drops Clayton State to 3-5 overall
and 1-3 in the Peach Belt. UNC Pembroke improves to 8-1-1 overall
and 3-1 in the Peach Belt.

DAHLONEGA,
Ga. – September 29, 2010 –
The Clayton State Laker women’s soccer team saw its two-game winning
streak come to a halt on Wednesday as the Lakers dropped a 4-1
decision in Peach Belt Conference action at rival North Georgia.
The defeat drops Clayton State to 3-4
overall and 1-2 in the Peach Belt. North Georgia improves to 7-1
overall and 4-0 in the Peach Belt, staying tied for first place with
both Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic.
Sophomore Julia Witchard scored the lone goal for Clayton State.
