A three-year starter and the anchor of a stellar Laker defensive backline… One of the top defenders in the Peach Belt Conference... Very athletic, aggressive and has tremendous speed… Normally draws the defensive assignment on the opposition’s top offensive threat… Mainstay who has recorded 50 starts in her three-year career... A potential All-Peach Belt Conference and All-Southeast Region hopeful this season.
2006: Saw action in 18 games with 17 starts on the defensive backline… Recorded an assist each against North Georgia and Newberry... Spearheaded Clayton State's second half defensive lockdown in which the Lakers allowed only four goals in the final 10 games of the season... Selected All-Peach Belt Conference Tournament for the second straight season.
2005:
Saw action in 19 games with 17 starts on the defensive backline… Helped pace Clayton State to a 0.59 goals-against average, which led the Peach Belt Conference and ranked 10th in the nation…. Selected to the All-Peach Belt Conference Tournament team.
2004: Played in 20 matches as a freshman with 15 starts...  Helped lead squad to a 1.32 goals-against average on the season.
High School/Club: Graduated in 2003 from Forest Park High School, receiving team Most Valuable Player honors and the GPA award... Also lettered one season in basketball… Also attended Saker Baptist College in Cameroon.
Personal: Born: January 18, 1985... Parents are John Ashu and Cecilia Ashu… Received the Clayton State Student Government Award of Excellence each of the last two years...
