A two-year letter winner on the track & field team, returning for her third season. Kara improved her 400-meter hurdle time at the D-II South Region meet on May 3. Helped set two indoor and two outdoor relay records. 2007: Opened outdoor season with a 2:27.81 800-meter run at the Emory Invitational. Ran a season-best 1:08.98 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Emory Classic.... Ran cross country for the first time, but limited by injuries. 2006: Helped set team indoor records in the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relays. During outdoor season, set the team record in the 400-meter hurdles with a 1:08.25 at the Emory Mini-meet and helped set team records in the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays.
High School:
A 2005 graduate from Cross Creek H.S. in which she was a four-year
letter winner in track and volleyball.
