Jarrid Casimir

Freshman ● Auburn, Ga. ● Dacula H.S.

One of seven freshmen on the Laker track & field roster for 2008.  Ran his first indoor season, mainly in the mile and 3,000-meter run, with steady improvement.  Has steadily improved his times during the outdoor season with career-bests in the 1500m and 5,000m.

 

2007: Helped Clayton State to a second place team finish at the Peach Belt Conference meet and a member of Clayton State's NCAA Division II All-Academic Team.  Ran personal bests of 29:01 for 8K and 36:45.90 for 10K.

High School: A 2007 graduate from Dacula H.S. where he was a member of the 2006 team that finished third in Class AAAA at the Georgia State Meet.
Personal: Born: August 13, 1989…  Parents are Blain & Marie Casimir.... Major is Biology.
