Returning
letterwinner aiming for a big sophomore season offensively... Set to
start at forward and combine with fellow sophomore Leighton
Fredericks to give Clayton State arguably the best scoring
combination in the Peach Belt Conference... Big, physical presence
up front at forward with exceptional speed… Tremendous one-on-one
attacker with the ball and a strong finisher offensively… A
legitimate All-Peach Belt Conference and Division II All-Southeast
Region hopeful this season.
2008: Played in 15 games last season
with four starts at forward... Finished as Clayton State’s
second-leading scorer with six goals and one assist for 13 points...
Scored the game-winning goal in the waning seconds against UNC
Pembroke... His lone assist was on the game-winning goal in overtime
against Lincoln Memorial.
High School/Club: Enjoyed a stellar
four-year career at Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga… High
school head coach was Shane Pulliam… Set both the single-season and
career scoring records at Whitewater… Finished his career with 74
goals… A four-time All-County and All-Region selection… Earned
All-State honors during both his junior and senior seasons… Scored
13 goals as a freshman, 17 goals as a sophomore, a Whitewater
single-season record of 29 goals during his junior season and 15
goals and 12 assists as a senior… Helped pace Whitewater to two
straight region championships and a Class AAAA state runner-up
finish during his senior season… Also lettered two seasons in
football as a wide receiver and free safety… Played club soccer for
the AFC Lightning Premier ’90.
