RASHAD SANDERS
Men's Soccer Strength and Conditioning Coach
 
New to the Clayton State men's soccer coaching staff for the 2007 season is strength and conditioning coach Rashad Sanders. An employee at Clayton State since 2005, Sanders is currently the Assistant Director of Recreation & Wellness and also oversee the student fan base club known as the Wrecking Crew.

After becoming a personal trainer in 2003, Sanders received his national Certified Fitness Trainer certification from ISSA in 2004.  He's worked with a wide variety of individuals and have recently placed an emphasis on the strength and conditioning of athletes.  In 2005, Sanders founded and started his own fitness company - Temple Keeper Fitness - specializing in personal training, group fitness and strength and conditioning.

A native of East Point, Ga., Sanders was raised in a military family and lived throughout the world growing up. He went to high school in Louisville, Ky., where he lettered in football, track and field and was an All-Region performer in basketball. Sanders earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University in 2003. He is currently pursuing a  Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, he will begin pursuing his master's degree this summer in Sports Administration at Georgia State University with an emphasis on Fitness Management.
