Will move from the midfield to the defensive backline for his
sophomore season... Adds tremendous speed along the defensive
backline and has great field vision... Will also see action in
midfield.
2006: Broke into the Laker program with
a solid freshman campaign, playing in 19 games with 13 starts...
Scored his one goal on the season against North Georgia, and
recorded his one assists in the home opener against Lees-McRae.
High School/Club: Lettered four seasons
in soccer at Richmond Academy… High school head soccer coach was
Chris Hughes… Enjoyed an illustrious prep career, scoring 78 goals in
his four seasons… Helped lead Richmond Academy to back-to-back state
championships as a sophomore and a junior… Also paced Richmond
Academy to the state semifinals during his senior season…
Richmond Academy’s record in his four
seasons was a whopping 83-6-11...
Played
club soccer for the Aiken Fire under current Clayton State assistant
Justin Rhodes... Helped lead the
Fire to four straight South Carolina state championships and the
national finals in 2002.. Club teammates with current Lakers Jordan
Gilbert, Mike Gustavson and Jamal Geathers.
Personal: Mother is Phyllis Jackson… Brother Markus plays college soccer at
Yale… Favorite television show is “Entourage”… Major is psychology.
