Another upperclassman that brings valuable leadership to the Lakers… Will be one of the leaders of the stellar Clayton State defensive backline this season… Possesses the tenacity needed on the defensive end of the field… Serves the ball well from his defensive position, and very composed when handling the ball... A possible All-Peach Belt Conference hopeful.
2006: Became a mainstay on the Laker defensive backline, starting 18 games... Scored his one goal on the season against Florida Tech and recorded an assist against Francis Marion in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
2005:
Returned to action following a medical redshirt season, seeing action in 20 games with 10 starts… Helped lead the Laker defense to a 0.77 goals against average, 13th best in the nation... Team allowed only 17 goals on the season... Helped lead team nine shutouts.
2004: Medical redshirt due to a knee injury. 
2003: Played in 17 games with 16 starts... Started the final 10 games of the season... Selected the team Most Improved Player... Helped lead the Clayton State defense to a 1.42 goals against average. 
High School/Club: Four-year letterwinner in soccer at Henry County High School... High school head coach was Jack Ford... A two-time team captain and two-time All-State and All-County selection... Helped lead Henry County to a 15-3-1 record as a senior… Scored 10 goals as a junior and 12 goals as a senior. 
Personal: Born: November 21, 1984... Parents are John and Toni English... Favorite food is grilled chicken and rice… Favorite television show is “The Sopranos”… Major is integrated studies.
