A returning player
that is on the
rise offensively for the Lakers… Had a tremendous spring and will
compete for
minutes up front at forward… Plays with a “never say die” attitude
and is always active on the field… Has some of the best foot skills
as anyone on the team... A potential All-Peach Belt Conference
hopeful.
2006: Made steady improvements during
his sophomore season in a Laker uniform... Played in 17 games with
six starts... Ranked fifth on the team in scoring with three goals
and four assists for 10 points... Scored a goal each against
Lees-McRae, North Georgia and Lander... Recorded an assist against
Rollins, North Georgia, Emory and Francis Marion.
2005: Saw action in 10 games as a
freshman at forward.
High School/Club: Four-year
letterwinner, playing his final three seasons at Sprayberry High
School... High School head coach was Gary DeHaven… Served as team
captain and was Most Valuable Player during his senior, leading the
team in scoring… Helped lead Sprayberry to the Class AAAAA state tournament
during his
senior season... Leading goal scorer in Cobb County as a senior…
Played club soccer for U-18 Cherokee Redwings.
Personal: Mother is Velichka Kalinova... Favorite food is steak… Favorite
