Bob Hill
Head Coach
Bob Hill enters his seventh season as the Clayton College & State University men's golf coach, compiling a 420-417-10 competing in one of the nation's most competitive Division II golf Regions.

In 2003, Hill led the Lakers to a sixth place finish in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional, and the program has been selected to the NCAA Regional tournament four out of the last six seasons.

Clayton State, led by Hill, advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships in only its second year of Division II membership in the 1998-99 season.  The Lakers placed seventh in the 1998-99 national tournament after placing fourth in the South Regional Tournament.

Hill's 1997-98 Clayton State men's golf team came within two strokes of a berth in the NCAA Division II National Tournament in the program's first season as a member of the NCAA.

He has coached a second-team and a third-team Golf Coaches Association of America All-American. He has also had one All-District, two All-Conference and one All-District Academic All-American.

A retired officer from the United States Army with duties in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, Hill has been an avid golfer for more than 30 years. He and his wife, Tippie, reside in Morrow.
