Doug Crane
Assistant Coach
Doug Crane enters his second season as the assistant Clayton College & State University men's golf coach.

In 2003, Crane helped lead the Lakers to a sixth place finish in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional and its fourth NCAA Regional tournament out of the last six seasons.

In addition to his golf duties, Crane has been an assistant with the women's basketball program for the last four seasons. He was a head women's basketball coach at the high school level for over 25 years.

Crane earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky in 1973, and a master’s degree from Georgia State in 1979. He and his wife, Nancy, have two children; Jennifer (27), and Lance (24).
