debut this season after sitting out last season following his transfer
from Division I Jacksonville State… Athletic combo guard that has a true
scorer’s mentality… Brings instant offense to the Laker backcourt…
Possesses excellent ball-handling skills and is deadly from 3-point
range… Will provide great depth this season at both the point and the
wing is a potential All-Peach Belt Conference hopeful.
Pre-Clayton State: Lettered in the 2004-05 season under
head coach Mike LaPlante at Jacksonville State… Appeared in 11 games,
averaging five points a contest… Was a junior college standout at
Atlanta Metro College for head coach Robert Pritchett… Averaged 22
points and five assists as a sophomore and was selected NJCAA
All-American… Selected NJCAA All-Region as a freshman.
High School: Lettered four seasons in
basketball at neighboring Morrow High School in Morrow, Ga… High school
head coach was Jay Livingston… A high school teammate of fellow Laker
Trey Goss… Finished his career as Morrow’s all-time leading scorer,
averaging 22 points a game… Was a three-time All-State selection and
District Player of the Year as a senior… Averaged 27 points and four
assists during his senior seasons in leading Morrow to a 30-2 mark and a
berth in the state semifinals.
