Returning starter
at power forward for the Lakers… One of the most versatile and
offensive-minded post players in the Peach Belt Conference… Scores
effectively inside and shoots exceptionally well from the perimeter
with great range… Does a lot of damage on the offensive boards… Will
be one of the top rebounding forwards in the Peach Belt this season…
A legitimate All-Peach Belt hopeful this season.
2005-06: Made a successful transition
into the Clayton State system, starting 27 games at power forward
for the Lakers… Led Clayton State in rebounding with 205 rebounds
and also averaged 10 points a game and shot an impressive 44 percent
(19-for-43) from 3-point range… Led the Peach Belt Conference in
offensive rebounding… Reached double-figures in scoring in 15 games
with five double-doubles… His top performance was a 22-point,
11-rebound double-double against Lander… Made a successful Clayton
State debut with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the season opener
against Tuskegee… Also scored 17 points at USC-Aiken and 16 points
at Francis Marion… Recorded a career-high 15 rebounds against
USC-Upstate.
Pre-Clayton State: Was a two-year standout at Abraham
Baldwin Junior College in Tifton, Ga… Junior college head coach was
Todd Sheppard… Averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds as a sophomore,
getting selected All-Region in the process… Averaged 12 points and
eight rebounds as a freshman.
High School:
Lettered two seasons in basketball and soccer at Macomb Christian
School in Warren, Mich… High school head coach was Marc Davidson…
Averaged a double in his last two seasons of high school… Averaged
31 points and 19 rebounds as a junior and 29 points and 18 rebounds
as a senior… Served as team captain for two seasons.

Parents are Eric and Gwenola Beugnot… Comes from a strong basketball
family as his father, grandfather and uncle all played professional
basketball in France… Grandfather Jean-Paul represented France in
three Olympics, while his father Eric and uncle Greg played on the
French Olympic team in the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games… Favorite
